Our story

Goldsmiths in Swakopmund since 1980

African Art Jewellers is a family-run goldsmith gallery. We have made jewellery in Swakopmund since 1980, in a distinct Namibian style.

Our logo still carries the German words Goldschmiede Galerie, goldsmith gallery, from our German-Namibian roots. Today we have two galleries in the town, and our own workshop on Sam Nujoma Avenue, completed in 2005. Most of the pieces in our galleries are made there by our own goldsmiths.

Our certificates of authenticity are signed by David van Niekerk, FGAA, GIA-AJP, AiS-AiV.
