Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run our business, each for its own purpose:
- Shopify hosts our online store and checkout, and provides the website chat.
- Payment providers process card payments.
- Couriers, including DHL for international orders, receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your parcel.
- Google Analytics (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) show us how visitors use the website. Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling.
- Authorities, such as the Financial Intelligence Centre or the Namibia Revenue Agency, when the law requires it.
Some of these services store information outside Namibia.
Why we keep some records
We keep identification and transaction records for at least five (5) years, as the Financial Intelligence Act requires, and we keep tax records for as long as tax law requires. Other information we keep only as long as we need it for the purposes above.
